HERE AT M.E.B.A. ELECTRONICS WE HAVE OVER, "20 YEARs In Radio and Amp REPAIR & MODIFICATIONS", with some of the best testing equipment you can find,for tuning and repairs. We use a Bird 43 Thruline RF Wattmetter, along with a JSR RM3500 Automatic Modulation Meter 1.5M-2GHZ, a HP 141T/8552B/8553B Spectrum Analyzer,the system is feed by a BIRD 4273-020 THRULINE RF coupling probe.We also use a HP Agilent Universal Counter for setting the Frequency, And we test all radios on a HP 333A Distortion Analyzer with a am Detector, which has a frequency range from 550kHz to 65MHz so we can pull the distortion down to no more then 4dbm. Some testing is made with our BK Precision 1040 CB Servicemaster.
And a Protek 6506 OSCILLOSCOPE with two channels at 60 MHz when it is needed! The PEP power readings are taken with a BULL DOG "Power Meter", True RMS power readings are taken with a Bird 43 Wattmeter with a 25 Watt element slug @ 25 - 60 Mhz for most radios. We also have a Signal Generator, and a 14VDC 20 Amp Power Supply, a Fluke 77 Digital Multimeter, A wide range Oscillator, And just a few of SAMS PHOTOFACT CB RADIO SERIES repair Books! This is just some of our testing Equipment, And lets not forget the 3000 watt 50 ohm dummy load.
